Pat Piscopo

Pat was born and raised in the Berkshires, where her love of nature inspired her artwork at an early age. She attended Berkshire Community College in Pittsfield, MA, where she was an art major. Her preferred medium is acrylic, although she occasionally dabbles in pastel and watercolor (truth be known - her old friends, lead pencils, are never far from her side). Her newer works also include mixed media pieces, with a focus on magazine collage. Pat's work has a playful, contemporary style with bright colors.

Pat has exhibited across Connecticut and Cape Cod. She is a member of The Fine Arts Connection of Thomaston and has helped to develop their art department into a thriving community group. She is the founder of the Ten-2-One Artists group and has been hosting Open Studio Sessions for the past seven years at the Crescent Gallery (158 Main Street, Thomaston, Connecticut). It is there that Pat shares her passion for art with other painters. According to Pat, “Open Studio Sessions give artists a place to create, learn, and share — as the camaraderie grows, so does the number of completed artworks.”
