Gloria Faraci

Gloria grew up in Woodbury, and now lives in Watertown with her husband, Bill, and daughter, Michelle. They’ve lived in Watertown since 1987, and recently sold their home, and moved to a condo.

Before retirement, Gloria was an elementary school teacher in Naugatuck. After she retired from teaching, she worked for the University of New Haven as a supervisor for 10 years before she fully retired.

In 2019, just for fun, Gloria and a friend took a colored pencil class with instructor Rita Paradis at Arts Escape. Gloria found she really enjoyed it, and took more classes with Rita. During the pandemic, Gloria was able to take colored pencil classes with Rita at Artsplace in Cheshire. She is still learning, and appreciates all the help she has received while painting with the Ten-2-One Artists at the Crescent Gallery. She hopes to try other mediums in the future.
